Our Agricultural Process
Sunrise Solar is in the business of saving homeowners and business owners money on their energy bill by harnessing the sun’s power. We work hard to help farmers out as well. A farm is a legacy that can be passed down to the next generation.
Solar power can help preserve that legacy and make it sustainable for future generations.
We employ a multi-step process to help farmers in Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland convert their farms to solar.
Our engineers start the process of investigating solar for your farm by performing site inspections. We will search for the best location for solar panels and even look through past electric bills to determine your average electricity usage. By the end of the site inspection, a recommendation can be made for the solar power system that would work best on your farm.
Next, we will design and present a comprehensive solar power proposal and draw up the agreement with you in order to proceed.
Once the agreement is in place, we can begin contacting your electricity provider to begin the process of interconnecting to the grid. The Sunrise Solar team will also start obtaining any necessary permits through local governments.
After installation of your system is complete, we will contact local inspectors to approve the site. A Sunrise Solar representative will be on site to work with the inspector for this process. We will install a new meter once you have passed inspection, register the system with the power company, and complete grant paperwork.
At the end of the process, you can then begin to save money for your farm by utilizing solar energy and ultimately create a more sustainable legacy for your family.
